WPNSA CAMPING/VAN ONLINE BOOKING

WPNSA has introduced a new online booking system for campervans so as a result there is NO LONGER a booking form which needs to be downloaded and returned. To book you now need to complete the online booking form which once received by WPNSA a space will be reserved. Due to new planning permissions we only have a limited number of spaces available. During the booking process you will be given a booking reference which as long as you provide a valid email address will be mailed directly to you. Please be sure to bring this booking reference with you and present it to reception who will then give you a permit.

Please note if you do not book in advance via the online system we cannot guarantee a space. (i.e do not arrive on the day and book as you may be turned away)

Rules
  • No refund after booking
  • Park in the designated area and comply with all WPNSA/marshall directions
  • All rubbish must be placed in bins
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times
  • Bookings on the day may be refused.
  • Due to some very large events WPNSA may not always be able to accept campers on site (see below)

Special notices to all campervans

Due to the size of the two Windsurfing Regattas and S4G taking place at the end of August and begining of September 2009 combined with strict regulations governing the pitch area of caravans/campervans WPNSA cannot accept any camperans/caravans on site from the 16th August through until the 21st September.

WPNSA and the RYA are aware that this impacts greatly on the above events so we have arranged for an alternative camping ground near WPNSA (5-10 minute walk) which can accommodate caravans, tents & campervans. The postcode of the site is DT5 1AU. Please follow this link to book

Rates

£12.00 per night per Van

Why the increase in charge?

In the development of the WPNSA under the activity of the Osprey Quay area we are bound by limiting factors. The first being the Health and Safety requirements of running a camping site. In order to offer campervaning on site we have had to obtain planning permission which is only granted under the Caravan sites and control Act 1960 / Model standards 1983. This imposes the minimum facilities that need to be offered to be able to entertain camping. In order to offer camping WPNSA have invested in substantial infrastructure in order to meet these requirements. This and the comparison to the nearest comparable product for campervans which is currently running at £25 a night and our commitment to support local businesses rather than undercut them have led us to the development of our current pricing.
