Peter Allam

Peter joined WPNSA in August 2013 fresh from the London 2012 Olympic Games as Sailing Deputy Competition Manager and Paralympic Games Sailing Competition Manager.  Tasked with an incredibly diverse daily role on site at WPNSA, Peter uses his knowledge of dinghy and keelboats including Olympic representation at the 1984 and 1992 Games, as well as success in the GBR Admirals Cup to practical use.  As a sailor and a parent, Peter shares the views of many visitors to the Academy and understands workings of committees having a previous place on the RYA Olympic Steering Group.

 

Rachel Sadler

Rachel is responsible for all the financial and administration functions at WPNSA.  Rachel joined WPNSA in 2009 after a career break where she worked overseas as a Flotilla Skipper and Chalet Host.  Prior to that she worked for many years as a Business Manager in the City.

 

James Gollop

James is a long standing member of the team having worked here since the beginning of WPNSA.  James is responsible for all the Shore Support functions on-site, which includes boat hoists, crane lifts, all equipment maintenance, security of the dinghy park and much more.  James also helps organise all the sailing events at the academy and with his National Race Officer qualification also runs a lot of the events held here at WPNSA.

 

Sally Reynoldson

Sally organises the events at WPNSA, liaising with the class associations and the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) on their requirements including volunteers, equipment, facilities, catering etc.  In addition, Sally also looks after the WPNSA social media, website and IT support.  Sally joined WPNSA in 2013 after working overseas for seven years as Flotilla Manager in Greece.  Previously Sally worked in the travel industry for many years.

 

Lisa Matthews

Lisa manages all of our functions at the Sailing Academy – wedding ceremonies and receptions, parties, proms, christenings and any other special occasions you may have! - ensuring everything is well organised and delivered to our customers' satisfaction.  Alongside this, Lisa also handles all the day to day bookkeeping at WPNSA.

 

Helen Pearson

Helen is also our main receptionist which involves various duties; arranging meetings, conferences and seminars, the performance squad training, looks after our membership, boat hoist bookings, all telephone and email enquiries, camper van bookings and administration support to the Chief Executive.  Prior to working at the Academy, Helen worked at a holiday park in Weymouth.
