Jon Tweedle
Jon joins WPNSA as CEO following 28 years in the RAF and a lifetime of sailing himself. Nowadays, he can be found racing his keelboat Puffin around Portland Harbour.
Rachel Sadler
Rachel looks after all the finance and accounts for the Academy as well as updating the management team and overseeing the finances of projects.
Sally Reynoldson
Sally looks after the operations at WPNSA; managing the events, reception, shore support and maintenance. This also involves managing the relationship with the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and the on-site partners. In addition, Sally also looks after the WPNSA social media, website and IT.
Lisa Matthews
Lisa manages catering and all of our functions: wedding ceremonies and receptions, parties, proms, christenings and any other special occasions you may have! - ensuring everything is well organised and delivered to our customers' satisfaction. Alongside this, Lisa also looks after the company bookkeeping.
Roly Gill
Roly is responsible for the boat yard operations and all the external equipment at WPNSA. Roly overseas the team that operates the cranes, boat hoist, fork lift and manage the boat park as a whole.
Cameron Tweedle
Cameron helps to organise the events at WPNSA, liaising with the class associations and the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) on their requirements including, equipment, facilities, catering etc. In addition, Cameron looks after the Volunteers, sorting out who is helping at which event as well as their development and training.
Chloe Harris
Chloe helps to organise the events at WPNSA, liaising with the class associations and the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) on their requirements including, equipment, facilities, catering etc. In addition, Chloe also assists with the Volunteers.
Nichola Taylor
Nichola, alongside Martin, looks after the day to day enquiries from our customers and the public; including general enquiries, membership, boat hoist, campervan bookings, lost property and much more! In addition Nichola looks after the meeting and funeral reception bookings.
Martin Collier
Martin, with Nichola, looks after the day to day enquiries from our customers and the public; including general enquiries, membership, boat hoist, campervan bookings, lost property and much more! In addition Martin looks after the training bookings.
Dennis Pearce
Dennis looks after the maintenance of the building and liaises with external contractors on any work that may need to be carried out.

As part of the Janitor Team, Shaun is responsible for the cleanliness and tidyness of the business. In addition, Shaun gets rooms set-up for all the different purposes e.g. events, functions, meetings etc.
Owen Stainforth
Owen, or Ozzie as he likes to be known, has a split role working part-time in the Janitor Team and part-time in the kitchen.
Francis Hart
As part of the Janitor Team, Francis is responsible for the cleanliness and tidyness of the business. In addition, Francis gets rooms set-up for all the different purposes e.g. events, functions, meetings etc.

Steve works in the kitchen producing the food we serve in the Cafeteria and for the various events and functions.
Becky Ford
As well as working in the Cafeteria, Becky overseas the running of the bar for events and functions.
Sara Thorner
Sara works in our Cafeteria to help our customers with all their teas, coffeess, other drinks and tasty food.
Chris Nairn
Chris mainly works preparing and serving food for our events, functions and meetings.

The Academy is a multifaceted business. The driving force and focus are the sailing events, but to sustain the facilities and business the WPNSA has several other revenue streams
