WPNSA is not permitted to allow launching from our slipways for recreational purposes or to exercise.
The British Sailing Team (BST) are exempt from the restrictions under Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport guidelines for elite athletes, and protocols have been established for BST members to access the site.

US sailors Mike Martin and Adam Lowry have won the 2016 SAP 505 World Championship hosted at the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy. 130 boats competed in superb conditions across 9 races. The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) has hosted a number of outstanding events throughout this summer. The season kicked off at Easter with the RYA Youth National Championships, held at WPNSA for a 2nd consecutive year.
